Lecture on electric cars
Tuesday, 24 September, from 7 pm at the Bocholt Media Centre
The adult education centre (VHS) Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg is offering a lecture on the current topic "Electric cars - Why a new petrol/diesel/hybrid is not a good idea" on Tuesday, 24 September. Speaker Michael Birkhan will cover all topics relating to electric mobility on this evening.
Even after the abolition of the electric car bonus, there are numerous arguments in favour of buying or leasing an electric car. Economy, environmental aspects, reliability and comfort continue to speak in favour of all-electric vehicles. The days when electric cars were considered expensive are over in 2024 - especially when you consider the running costs.
An information evening at the Bocholt Media Centre will be dedicated to the topics of carbon footprint, battery technologies, charging tips and the myths and facts about electromobility. A comparison with Norway, where new combustion and hybrid vehicles will soon no longer be permitted, will also be discussed. The evening is aimed at both interested parties and those who have already switched to electric mobility.
The event will take place at 7 pm. The participation fee is 6 euros. Registration at www.vhs-bocholt.de ensures a seat reservation, remaining tickets are available at the box office.
