Last action for Bocholt Blossoms is implemented
The hanging baskets with bee-friendly flowers will be hung on the lampposts in Bocholt's city centre by Ewibo employees today, Monday 15 May. Three large flower pyramids, also planted with bee-friendly flowers, will also be placed in the streets. "We are now finally ringing in spring and hope that the weather will also cooperate," says Gisela Bollmann from Bocholt City Marketing, who is coordinating these campaigns. The hanging baskets, which will adorn the city centre until the end of September, will be supplied by the Bocholt nursery Hoven.
Another action for Bocholt Blossoms was the installation of large straw figures in various places in the city centre. These can be admired until 22 May. The maypole in front of the historic town hall will also decorate the market until the end of May.
"All the activities bring life and variety to the city centre and invite you to shop and linger. We are looking forward to many guests in the coming weeks," says Mechtild Hoffs, chairwoman of the ISG Altstadt Bocholt.
The ISG Altstadt Bocholt e.V. and the advertising associations Neutorplatz and Shopping Arkaden support these activities.
