Erection of the maypole in front of the town hall

Early on Wednesday morning, 26 April, the maypole was erected by employees of the Entsorgungs- und Servicebetrieb der Stadt Bocholt (ESB) on the market in front of the historic town hall. The trunk and wreath of the maypole (wreath with a diameter of 4 metres) were prepared and decorated by the ESB. The wreath of the 11-metre high maypole is decorated with colourful ribbons and symbols. The maypole will beautify the ambience at the market until the end of May. The maypole brings spring flair to the market until the end of May.

Another action for Bocholt Blossoms was the installation of large straw figures in various places in the city centre last week.

Sales open from 1-6 p.m. and free parking

This coming Sunday, 30 April, will be the first open Sunday with a large classic car meeting in Bocholt. If the weather cooperates, hundreds of classic cars are expected. The shops will open from 1-6 pm. Parking is free in the entire city centre.
