Experience winter fun from 28.11.24 to 2.2.25 on the ice rink at Neutorplatz in Bocholt, presented by the Stadtsparkasse Bocholt Foundation. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced skater, there's something for everyone here. Come along and enjoy the marvellous winter fun in our city!

The following opening hours apply for ice skating.

Curling:

Price: €50.00 per group (max. 10 people per rink)
Payment is made in advance via PayPal when booking.

Two groups with a maximum of 10 people can play at the same time.
The lanes can only be booked ONLINE via our reservation system (SuperSaas).

Possible time slots:
19:00 - 20:15 (75 minutes)
20:30 - 21:45 (75 minutes)

The mobile ice rink and slide in Bocholt, centrally located on Neutorplatz in front of the Stadtsparkasse, attracted over 20,000 visitors last winter, according to the Stadtsparkasse Bocholt Foundation, which sponsors the event. And there will also be an ice rink next winter!

Can I cancel an online reservation?

Yes, you can cancel your reservation(s) yourself up to 4 days before your appointment. To do this, log in to your SuperSaas customer account.

Your payment (only applies to curling) will be refunded to you manually by our staff. This can take up to 5 working days.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to postpone a reservation that has already been paid for. Not even by contacting us by telephone. In this case, please make a new reservation.

Will I get my money back?

Your payment (only applies to curling) will be refunded manually by our staff once your reservation has been cancelled. This can take up to 5 working days.

In the event of cancellation of an ice rink, Paypal fees charged to the organiser at the time of booking will not be refunded.

Can I pay for skating on site without cash?

Yes, you can pay for skating and skate hire on site by bank card.
Cash payment is of course also possible.

I have booked a rink for curling. What happens if the weather is bad?

We strongly recommend that you wear clothing suitable for the weather, especially waterproof shoes, an extra layer for warmth and appropriate headgear and gloves. You will be given anti-slip spikes to put over your shoes on site.

We endeavour to ensure that reservations can take place even in bad weather. However, this is not always possible. The organiser will decide on the day whether the game has to be cancelled due to bad weather. If this is the case, the reserved groups will be informed by telephone (if not available: by e-mail).

In this case, your payment will be refunded via PayPal.

Can I hire skates?

Yes, you can either bring your own skates or hire skates for a fee, see prices above.

Is there a catering offer?

In terms of catering, SPARKASSE ON ICE is accompanied by a mulled wine stand and a snack bar.

The catering facilities on the ice rink close between 8 and 9 pm - depending on the weather and bookings for curling on the ice rink.
