From 10 June to 7 July, the bicycle parking facilities at Liebfrauenplatz and the arcades can be tried out free of charge. All you have to do is pick up a discount code at the bike station at the Bustreff during normal business hours.
The discount code can be used once during the above-mentioned period at one of the two facilities. Registration and login are required to enter the discount code during the booking process and receive free access.
Since the end of April 2024, the three bicycle parking facilities at the railway station, Liebfrauenplatz and the arcades (bicycle boxes) in Bocholt have been connected to the digital booking and access system www.radbox.nrw. In a few weeks, the bike station at the Bustreff will also be bookable via the same system. Bocholt's bicycle parking facilities are operated and maintained by Büngern-Technik.
The digital booking and access system offers a number of advantages. It enables the online booking of a bicycle parking space in a lockable facility, whereby the bicycle is largely protected from the weather, theft and damage.
In addition, all available bicycle parking spaces can be viewed online and booked and paid for directly. In future, bookings will also be possible via the websites and apps of mobility service providers in NRW. Access to the facility is quick and easy via PIN, TAN or QR code, so that no additional organisation of a key is necessary.
The fees for using the Bocholt bicycle parking facilities vary slightly depending on the location and rental period, but are between 0.50 and 0.70 euros for a 6-hour booking, for example. Detailed information on this can be found at www.radbox.nrw.
How can I rent a parking space?
Select the location and rental period at www .radbox.nrw: Visit the website and select the desired location and rental period.
Register/login: Create an account or log in if you are already registered.
Select and deposit payment method: Select your preferred payment method (PayPal, credit card (Visa/Mastercard) or SEPA direct debit) and deposit the payment information.
Receive access data: After successful payment of the booked parking space, you will receive your personal access data by e-mail and in the application.
Use facilities: Use your access medium (PIN, TAN, QR code) at the operating terminal of the facility with the booked parking space to use the parking facility on site. A mobile phone is no longer necessary - PIN, TAN or QR code are sufficient.
