Renovation work: Closures on Liederner Ringstraße and Werther Straße

On Tuesday (27 August), the Straßen.NRW regional branch will start with the renovation of the L505 and L605 in Bocholt. The construction company will begin with the rehabilitation of the L505 in the Mussum area. Here, the entire carriageway will be renewed for around 200 metres from the Mussumer Ringstraße / Alfred-Flender Straße junction to the Werther Straße / Liederner Ringstraße junction. This work is expected to last until the beginning of October.

A section of the L605 (Werther Straße) in the Liedern area will then be resurfaced over a length of around 600 metres. From the road "Am Ries" to the Werther Straße / Liederner Ringstraße junction, the parallel cycle path will also be resurfaced in addition to the carriageway. This work will take around four weeks until the beginning of November.

Both state roads will have to be fully closed for the planned construction period. Large-scale diversions will be signposted. Local traffic within the construction sites will be maintained and will have to be routed via temporary arrangements in some cases. Residents will receive separate information on this.
