Protection against theft: City points out parking facilities for bicycles

Since spring 2024, Bocholt has had parking facilities for bicycles in four locations in the city centre. In addition to the well-known parking facilities at the railway station and at the Bustreff, cyclists can also lock up their bikes at Liebfrauenplatz and in special bike boxes at Berliner Platz.

With the exception of the Bustreff, secure parking spaces in all facilities can be easily booked online via www.radbox.nrw - even using a smartphone. The Bustreff facility will also be connected to the system in the coming weeks. It will then also be possible to pay in cash.

The bike boxes at Berliner Platz also offer the option of charging the e-bike during the parking process. A 6-hour time slot costs between 50 and 70 cents, depending on the location, and the fee can be paid by PayPal, credit card or SEPA direct debit.
