St Nicholas comes to the cemetery quarter

The association "Leben im Alter" (L-i-A) invites you to a joint Christmas carol sing on Tuesday, 6 December from 5-7 pm at the fountain in Dortmunder Straße.

A Christmas tree is set up and decorated with ornaments made by the children from the "Blumenwiese" and St. Paul daycare centres. As a reward, Father Christmas comes to the neighbourhood on this day and brings little surprises. All neighbours, parents, children and interested members of the public are invited. "We would be delighted to see a large number of people taking part and then want to round off the evening in a cosy atmosphere with a warm drink", say Jörg Geuting and Agnes Wellkamp from L-i-A.

The campaign was planned and initiated together with the residents at the second neighbourhood workshop, reports Jörg Geuting from L-i-A. The campaign is coordinated, implemented and financially supported by the association "Leben im Alter", the city of Bocholt, Bocholter Heimbau eG, LEG, the Gildhuis bakery and the Azurit Group "Wohnen mit Service am Stadtwald".
