Comprehensive school pupils and NABU give birds a home // Public walk on 17 March
In co-operation with NABU (NABU-Kreisverband Borken e.V.), pupils from the municipal comprehensive school in Bocholt have built ten nesting boxes for Fildeken-Rosenberg.
The nesting boxes are hung up in the neighbourhood just in time for the breeding season. On 17 March, a public walk through the district will take place afterwards, during which the colourfully designed nesting boxes can be admired. Rudolf Souilljee from NABU supervised the construction of the nesting boxes. During the walk, he will provide information about species conservation and ornithology. The walk starts at 3 pm at the QuartiersHaus on Saarstraße.
The event was supported by the Fildeken-Rosenberg neighbourhood management and financed by the municipal disposition fund.
