Rescue services carry out major exercise

When blue lights flash and sirens wail in the north of Bocholt tomorrow, Thursday 18 July, residents around Bocholt "Hünting" need not be worried: The Bocholt Fire and Rescue Academy will be carrying out a major exercise on the grounds of FC Olympia Bocholt (Am Hünting).

Actors and numerous rescue vehicles are used to simulate an emergency situation as realistically as possible. The exercise is part of the training programme for young trainees.

In the afternoon, another exercise will take place on Mussumer Straße in Hamminkeln, the FRB announces.
