In an increasingly digitalised world, new ways of getting in touch with potential employers are opening up. The majority of companies now favour digital applications by email or via online platforms over traditional paper applications. However, while these digital application processes enable faster transmission, it is crucial to prepare them just as carefully as traditional applications. After all, there are also pitfalls lurking in the digital world that every applicant should be aware of.

But what does a modern digital application look like? Can it simply be written using ChatGPT? These and other questions are the focus of an upcoming presentation that is not only relevant for those who have not applied for a while and are unsure about current rules. "This talk will also be of interest to those who want to find out about digital job search and self-presentation options or are simply curious and want to update their knowledge", according to the city's Equal Opportunities Office.

The event is part of the "Women&Profession" series organised by the municipal equal opportunities officers in the Borken district.
