Every month on the 1st Thursday from 3pm to 7pm, Bocholt's city centre is transformed into a lively theme festival. The popular Motto Thursday brings monthly changing themes that provide variety and entertainment.

In August, Motto Thursday has the motto "Cocktails, sun, good mood - summer in the city". On 1 August, visitors to Bocholt city centre can experience an unforgettable summer afternoon. The evening market will be enriched by a special cocktail stand offering refreshing frozen cocktails.

To make the summer feeling perfect, there will be a special promotion in the participating shops in Bocholt city centre: there will be a discount voucher of 2 euros with your purchase, which can be redeemed directly at the cocktail stand. Only one discount voucher can be redeemed per cocktail and only while stocks of frozen cocktails last. In addition, ice cream vouchers will be handed out in the participating shops, which can be redeemed for a scoop of ice cream at Eiscafé Leone or Eiscafé Cavone. All vouchers are only valid on the promotion day, 01 August, between 3pm and 7pm.

In hopefully summery weather, visitors can treat themselves to a frozen cocktail or an ice cream in a cosy atmosphere, listen to the sounds of the live band Acoustic Affairs and let themselves be carried away by the good mood. With these activities, the city centre community offers customers something special and once again draws attention to the fact that a visit to Bocholt's city centre can be a fun experience in addition to shopping and strolling around.
