Bocholter Aasee Festival 2024
From 9 to 11 August, the bathing bay at the Aasee in Bocholt will once again be transformed into a festival site. Here, all visitors can spend time with family or friends, listen to music, linger, celebrate, have fun, play and simply have a good time in one of the most beautiful places in Bocholt.
Food trucks offering a variety of culinary delicacies, both savoury and sweet, will take care of your physical well-being. There will also be plenty of drinks stands, a cocktail stand and, of course, the Strandcafé Ottilie will be there for all visitors with its usual delicious range of food and drinks.
Celebration, fun, entertainment, meeting friends & family
Radio WMW will be on site with a varied programme and will provide the best entertainment on all three days. Friday evening is party time with DJ Udo Sandmann with music from the 80s/90s/2000s and Saturday evening is the summer party with DJ Wacho and music from the 2000s to the present day.
Children can look forward to a special play area where fun and adventure are guaranteed: Climbing, jumping and playing are in the foreground. A special highlight for the younger guests is the performance on Saturday afternoon by Papa Clowni, who will make children's eyes light up with his funny performances.
The festival also offers a varied live programme that creates a great atmosphere. In the "Radio WMW Summer Garden", visitors can relax on Sunday from 12 noon, enjoy the summer atmosphere and look forward to live talks, live barbecues, competitions + great prizes and music by "Stonewashed" with Radio WMW presenter Silvia Ochlast.
On the opposite Aasee Festwiese (on the street "Im Königsesch"), the 3rd Classic Meeting with many classic cars will also be organised for all car enthusiasts on Sunday.
The Aasee Festival is the perfect opportunity to meet friends, celebrate together and enjoy the summer to the full.
