New Youth Welfare Office Parents' Council elected for the 2024/25 kindergarten year
Eight dedicated parent representatives take on important roles
The election of the Youth Welfare Council for the 2024/25 kindergarten year has now taken place.
Patricia Muth was elected Chairwoman of the Youth Welfare Council, her deputy is Karsten van Gelder. Jana Sinnack is the delegate to the state parents' council. Lena Kamps is an advisory member of the Youth Welfare Committee and Anna Katharina Eusterfeldhaus is her deputy. Lisa Winter, Carsten Terörde and Nele Geke serve as assessors.
What does the Youth Welfare Parents' Council do?
The Youth Welfare Office Parents' Advisory Board (JAEB) is an independent body that represents the interests of parents vis-à-vis the Youth Welfare Office and the providers of daycare centres. The JAEB also supports the parents' councils in the facilities, acts as an advisory member of the youth welfare committee of the city of Bocholt and liaises with the higher-level state parents' council. Representatives of the parents' councils from the daycare centres and from the childcare sector can participate in the election of the JAEB.
"The city of Bocholt would like to thank all those involved for their commitment and looks forward to constructive cooperation in the coming kindergarten year", says Doris Springer, Head of the city's Youth and Family Department.
