New climbing equipment installed at Stadtwald playground

New fun at the playground in the city forest: a climbing pyramid has now been installed there.

75 percent of 1,100 participants had previously voted for the device, which was purchased by the youth welfare office, in a public online vote. Now it has been released for play. "All that's missing now is the right weather so that the children can quickly conquer the climbing pyramid," says a delighted Thomas Boekhorst from the city of Bocholt.

Boekhorst is sure that "this great climbing device will make the Stadtwald playground, which is now fully usable again, an even more attractive destination for Bocholt families".

The old climbing equipment at the municipal Stadtwald playground had to be taken out of service at the end of 2020 due to damage that could no longer be repaired.
