Get into conversation

Marina Dyankova

"My Europe" is an interactive digital event series that invites its guests to discover Europe.

How does it work? It's simple: we talk to young people from different countries about Europe and about their personal topics of interest. The topics are as diverse as the speakers and can range from current political and social developments to culture and science to one's own commitment to more tolerance or solidarity. In addition to the given topic, all participants can also vote live on other topics and ask questions themselves in the evening.

Rediscover Europe

On 22 February, Marina Dyankova will take the audience on a virtual journey to Bulgaria.

Marina is 22 years old and loves to learn through hands-on experience. She is a Culinary Arts student living and studying in the seaside capital of Bulgaria - Varna. Marina grew up in Varna but had the opportunity to travel around Europe at a young age.

She studied German at school but loves exploring other cultures, languages and traditions. Currently Marina works as a project coordinator in a social enterprise that helps young people from care homes or vulnerable environments. She has experience in the hospitality industry and customer service. Marina sees herself as an active citizen, involved in the social and cultural development of the city.

Even though she will not spend her whole life in Bulgaria Bulgaria, she appreciates its traditions, history and nature. In the section on her personal area of interest, Marina will give the audience more insight into these elements of Bulgarian culture.

Come and have a conversation with her!
