For the 16th cabaret festival, we once again welcome Hennes Bender to the Alte Molkerei, who will guide us through the evening as our host. His spontaneity and much-appreciated verbal capers have long since taken up residence in the curtains of the Molkerei, where they live out their existence until Hennes brings them back to life in the flesh with irrepressible energy. At the time of going to press, only two guests were known. As in previous years, who else he will present remains a much-anticipated surprise.
Anne Folger, piano cabaret artist, comes from Weimar and lives in Kirchzarten. She attended music high school and studied piano, chamber music and song accompaniment at the music academies in Weimar, Paris and Freiburg. She completed her concert exam there with a grade of 1.0. She has won prizes at the Luciano Gante International Piano Competition in Italy and the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Weimar, as well as numerous youth competitions.
She has played over 800 concerts in Germany, Switzerland and Austria with the piano duo Queenz of Piano. Tours have taken her to Japan, Morocco, Taiwan, Dubai, China, the USA and many more.
The Queenz of Piano have made television appearances on ARD Morgenmagazin, NDR DAS!, BR Abendschau, Alfons und Gäste, BR Klick Klack as well as reviews in the Hamburger Abendblatt, FAZ, Süddeutsche Zeitung and many more.
Anne trained as an actress at the MHS Freiburg and plays in various theatre ensembles. As an improvisation actress, she has played theatre sports with and against improv ensembles such as: Die Gorillas, Berlin; Steife Brise, Hamburg and Inedit Theatre, Strasbourg and won 3rd place at the European Improfestival Weimar in 2007. She is currently performing in the improv theatre " Kraut und Diven".
When he's not writing homepage texts about himself in the third person, he likes to tour the country with his full-length solo show, in which stand-ups and musical interludes as well as the obligatory freestyle rap meet with terms from the audience.
He has even been honoured with several cabaret awards for this, such as the German Cabaret Prize, although he only tells you this when asked. And since you asked ... voilà.
