Intercultural theatre play based on the novel by Haifaa Mansour for young people aged 12 and over, performed by the Westfälisches Landestheater Castrop-Rauxel.

The play was awarded the 2016 Youth Literature Prize.

Wadjda has only one wish, a green bicycle. But how is she supposed to find the money for the bike? She can't expect any help from her parents. Then she remembers the basket competition at school, but she has to come up with something for this difficult task. In the end, however, everything turns out differently than she thinks.
