Cinema poster - It's the little things

The country doctor is dead, the butcher has no successor, the café is closed and the village school has too few children. In short: the village of 400 souls has many building sites and a mayor who is also the headmistress and tries to keep her small town in Brittany afloat.

In addition to road damage and marital problems, she also deals with the village choleric Emile, who wants to go back to school to finally learn to read and write. Since the death of his brother, he no longer has anyone to help him with his everyday tasks, and chaos ensues when the school authorities enrol. But as we all know, necessity is the mother of invention and brings the school and village community together.
