Historical city tour

The Bocholt night watchman greets his guests at St George's Fountain in medieval dress, with halberd and bugle.

On his 90-minute tour of the town, he guides participants through the dark alleyways and the history of the town of Bocholt in 1665 by the light of his lantern. He explains the history of buildings, squares and streets with humour and knowledge and talks vividly about the everyday life of the townspeople.

The participation fee is 9.50 euros/person.

Prior registration is required at the Tourist-Info Tel. 02871 5044, info(at)tourist-info-bocholt(dot)de.

This night watchman tour can also be booked all year round for private groups on a date of your choice.

Appointments can be arranged with the night watchman at www.bocholter-nachtwaechter.de

Further dates can be found in the events calendar under Historical city tours.

Participation at your own risk. Tickets can be returned free of charge up to 7 days in advance; in the event of an official weather warning, the tour will not take place.
