Play based on the novel by Erich Kästner, performed by the Landestheater Burghofbühne Dinslaken.
Berlin at the time of the Weimar Republic. Jakob Fabian, 32 years old, lives here and changes jobs. At the moment he is an advertising specialist, at night an observer and beneficiary of Berlin's glittering and disreputable nightlife. His friend Labude thinks he should finally get ahead, but with what and for what or whom? His love for Cornelia makes him blossom, but unfortunately this love doesn't last long. And other building blocks in his life are also gradually falling apart.
