Specialities from different countries
As part of the Intercultural Week, a coffee and tea festival (with compote) will take place in the Benölkenplatz canteen on 27 September 2023 from 6 pm to 9 pm.
The German-Syrian Association, the Ahmadiyya Community, the German-Chinese Society, the German-British Society, the Afghan Cultural Association Bocholt, the Italian Cultural Association (Bocholter Associazione Culturale Italiana e.V. ) and the EWIBO will be presenting specialities from their respective countries. British Tetleys Tea meets strong Syrian coffee, Italian espresso meets Afghan Chaye Sia. The organisers will talk about the preparation, origin and characteristics of the different varieties. There will be great insights into the different cultures and many intercultural conversations.
