Bocholt_plays_2024

On Sunday, 17 November, the 11th Bocholt Games Day will take place from 11:00 to 17:00 at the St.-Bernhard-Schule (Thonhausenstraße 30) in the Lowick district. The event is free of charge and is aimed at games enthusiasts of all ages. In addition to an extensive range of games, tournaments and a purchase option for tested games will be offered.

Families, grandparents, friends and other game enthusiasts are invited to try out new and tried-and-tested parlour, family, strategy and card games. There are suitable games to choose from for every age group - several hundred in total. The "Bocholter Spielebude" provides the entire range of games as well as experienced game supervisors. They explain the rules of the game and are available to answer any questions.

Heckmeck and family tournament

As a special highlight, the "Heckmeck Tournament" will take place from 12:00 noon, followed by a "Family Tournament" at 2:00 pm. Teams of family members will play the game "Concept Kids". Registrations for the tournaments will be accepted up to half an hour before the start.

Cafeteria

An on-site cafeteria will provide refreshments. The aim of the games day is to promote the exchange and sharing of games across generations and to provide inspiration for new acquisitions. Due to the positive response last year, it will again be possible to buy tested games directly.

The organisers Lina Szymkowiak and Sylvana Schaffeld from the Association for Youth and Social Work (JusA) are hoping for many visitors: "We are delighted to be able to hold the Bocholt Games Day again. The large crowds last year showed how much the people of Bocholt appreciate the event."

Organisers and supporters

The Games Day is organised by the Association for Youth and Social Work (JusA) in cooperation with the Youth and Family Department of the City of Bocholt and the "Bocholter Spielebude". Support comes from the BBV Media Group and Volksbank Bocholt.
