BAFA - Promotion of management consultancies for SMEs

The federal programme " Promotion of business consultations for SMEs" promotes consultations for small and medium-sized enterprises. Companies can obtain advice from qualified consultants on all economic, financial, personnel and organisational issues relating to company management. Companies in difficulty also receive a consultancy grant for all issues relating to restoring performance and competitiveness.

Funding framework

• Type of funding: Grant
• Amount of the subsidy: The subsidy amounts to 50% of the assessment basis (for young companies = € 4,000; for existing companies = € 3,000); for companies in difficulty, the subsidy is 90%.
• Scope: max. 5 days for existing companies
• Exception: No subsidy for value added tax
