Guardianship law: Power of attorney, living will and more - how to make good provisions

Free training on Monday, 13 June, 6:30 pm at the Social Service of Catholic Women (SkF)

As part of the "Gut geschult - Gut vertreten" training programme, a training course on "Vorsorgende Regelungen" will be held on Monday, 13 June for voluntary carers, authorised representatives and interested citizens. This will cover topics such as health care proxies, living wills and advance care directives as well as organ donation options.

The event lasts around two and a half hours and starts at 6.30 pm in the offices of the Sozialdienst katholischer Frauen (SkF, Langenbergstraße 18). Registrations can be made by calling 02871 25182-23. Participation is free of charge.

Making provisions is not a question of age and affects everyone. On this evening, speaker Sanna Zachej from the SkF will provide an insight into the legal options for making self-determined and forward-looking provisions for emergencies. She will explain how to ensure that one's will continues to be honoured even in difficult life situations. Participants will receive information and practical tips on how to draw up powers of attorney and advance directives.

Organiser and framework

The event is organised in cooperation with the working group for the care system in the city of Bocholt. This includes the care centre of the city of Bocholt as well as the care associations of SkF Bocholt and Arbeiterwohlfahrt Bocholt.
