Fit for spring: walking tour through Bocholt city centre

Thursday, 5 May 2022, at 10 a.m. from "Zukunftsbüro" Nordstraße

Exercise, sunshine and fresh air are the best tips for preventing the typical spring fatigue and shaking the winter out of your limbs as quickly as possible. The next walking tour through Bocholt city centre will take place on Thursday, 5 May 2022. The offer is free and open to anyone who enjoys exercise and fitness. The one-hour tour starts at 10 a.m. at the "Zukunftsbüro" on Nordstraße.

Moderate, brisk walking or walking, with or without poles, supplemented by movement exercises in various city centre locations and squares. For registration and information, call 02871 2048 429 or e-mail zukunftsstadt(at)bocholt(dot)de.

The exercise programme is organised by the "Zukunftsstadt Bocholt" project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in cooperation with the "Leben im Alter" association. Participation is free of charge and is primarily aimed at the older generation. In recent months, a small group has already established itself that regularly takes part in the programme and is happy to welcome new members.

The walking tour focuses on exercising together. However, the focus is also on the urban development of Bocholt's city centre - and how this can be perceived as a space for exercise.

The walking tour takes place every first Thursday of the month.
