Training on guardianship law
Monday, 22 April, from 18:30-21 at SkF Bocholt // Focus topic "Disease patterns" // Participation free of charge
The city of Bocholt is organising a free training course in cooperation with the local care associations. The event will take place on Monday, 22 January and is aimed at voluntary carers, authorised representatives and citizens interested in the topic. It starts at 6.30 p.m. at the Sozialdienst katholischer Frauen (SkF) on Langenbergstraße 18. Registrations are required by calling 02871/25 18 2-20.
Alina Reiberg, an employee of the SkF care organisation and herself a legal carer, will report on the topic of "Disability (Part 2)".
The training will provide an overview of the concept of "disability", which forms the basis for the implementation of the Federal Participation Act. How can legal carers make participation possible for a person in their care? What aspects are relevant and need to be considered? Specific examples of support options will be given during the training course.
The event is part of the training series "Gut geschult - Gut vertreten", a cooperation of the local working group for the care system. In addition to the care authority of the city of Bocholt, the care associations SkF Bocholt and AWO Bocholt are members of the working group.
