Training on guardianship law
Wednesday, 23 August, from 18:30-21 h at AWO Bocholt // Participation free of charge
The city of Bocholt invites you to a free training on the topic of "guardianship law" on 23 August. The event is aimed at voluntary carers, authorised representatives and citizens interested in the topic. It starts at 6:30 p.m. in the rooms of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) on Kreuzstraße 16. Registrations are accepted by calling 02871 2394563.
Gabriele Theling, a staff member at the AWO care association and herself a legal guardian, will talk about the topic of social benefits. Social insurances such as pension, health and long-term care insurance, social assistance benefits such as basic security, housing allowance, assistance for long-term care, residential care allowance and participation benefits are benefits that people who care for others often come into contact with. How and where can these financial benefits be applied for, what are the requirements, what needs to be considered?
The event is part of the training series "Well trained - Well represented", a cooperation of the local working group for the care system. In addition to the guardianship authority of the city of Bocholt, the guardianship associations SkF Bocholt and AWO Bocholt belong to the working group.
