Hohe Mark CycleRoute
Start the Hohe Mark CycleRoute at Bocholter-Aasee. Cycle through a picture-book landscape. Huge forest areas alternate with grassland, heathland and moorland. Remarkable natural monuments, numerous moated castles, old farms, special gardens and other sights are scattered along the way as if by chance. The wild horses in the Merfelder Bruch in Dülmen are a relic from prehistoric times.
Perhaps you would like to immerse yourself in Roman history at the LWL Roman Museum in Haltern and then dive into Lake Haltern? This lake landscape and other numerous natural paradises along the route invite you to linger.
The route connects the towns in our holiday region in Münsterland, and we will be happy to help you with your planning.
